John is a Brazilian American composer. He composes concert, video game and film music in Phoenix, Az. He is currently a senior in the composition program at Arizona State University. John has worked together with performers, film directors, video game developers and conductors.
John’s music can be found in the games Cube Compute, The Controlls of Players, and Kookysphere. He composed the music for the film Backfired. He placed in the 2020 Artists of Promise composition competition and is currently Composer-in-Residence for ASU’s Maroon and Gold Wind Band. John believes his best work comes from collaborating with others. John is fluent in Sibelius, Logic Pro X, and Reaper.
When not composing John likes to spend time with his family, play video games and skateboard.
